A League First Aid Responder—identifiable by their green shirts—are those who have completed the NRL League First Aid Course. The course covers how to manage emergency situations and apply first aid in a Rugby League environment as well as injury management, crisis management, concussion management and transporting an injured player.  It provides the NRL's minimum qualification for first responders for players aged 6-15 and includes units for Provide CPR and Provide First Aid. The course is a blended delivery with both eLearning and face to face training.

All participants who successfully complete the NRL League First Aid course will receive the following qualifications:

• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

• NRL League First Aid certificate
